So, the fixings turned up today for the dish. Mostly had to spend the day fighting with the lawnmower and strimmer both of which are being temperamental. Also had to replant some raspberries that were underneath the mast antenna park.

Finally, after dinner I could start the job of fitting the first ribs to the front hub.

Seems to fit OK. I’ve only used 6mm long threads and into aluminium I wonder if 10mm would be better. Might order some longer ones.

Looks like a convincing start.

And the opposing position.

I can see here that the ribs are slightly splayed out. This won’t help to keep to a pure parabola.

I’m fairly sure I can pull this back with the back mounting plate.
